The AliMed® Hemi-Shoulder Sling is designed to reduce shoulder subluxation in patients with conditions such as CVA, post-humeral fracture, brachial plexus injury, and shoulder-girdle weakness or flaccidity. Unlike conventional slings, it offloads the humeral joint by transferring arm weight to the scapula via a shoulder saddle, while still allowing full range of motion.
- Shoulder saddle offloads the humeral joint and transfers arm weight to the scapula.
- Three adjustable fixation straps allow for correction of muscle imbalance and internal or external rotation.
- Gusseted inner panel adjusts to fluctuations in edema and assists with donning and doffing.
- Biceps-triceps belly band locks the cuff in place during wear.
- Can be worn over or under clothing.
- Available in left or right, in four sizes (X-Small to Large).
