The 4R170 adapters help optimise the alignment of the transfemoral prosthesis by sliding along a circular path to make fine adjustments to the socket flexion position. The 4R170=1 adapter is suitable for fittings with a larger socket flexion setting, whereas the 4R170=2 adapter is suitable for a smaller setting.
